It's a common form of pose, expressing that you, the subject are laid back, typically thinking in a certain manner, however the shot angle states that you are not the main idea of the shot. You are mearly a piece of what you want people to see.

The darker colors, I believe, indicate that you are expressing a feeling of dissassociation. Trying to take yourself away from all that you once were, and indiffrent facial expression adds to this. Like you the subject want to become someone else, or already are. And that change... is something that you are wondering.. if it will be for the better.

I agree with the boardering comment.

The door-stopper looks like an eye to me, so I get a definite glaring feeling from this. The colors are toxic and cold. I find that this is pretty different from some of your other stuff.
